Smart communication with Dopod C500



DOPOD International (Singapore) Corp. Ltd has unveiled the C500 smart phone, which utilizes the latest Window Mobile 6 operating system.

The product comes with a brand new user interface and a unique innovative design, which includes a numeric keypad and a semi-auto sliding Qwerty keyboard. This not only allows users to key in messages with minimal effort, but also fits into their style and preferences.

With MSN/Live Messenger, users can MSN with friends while on the move, send and receive photos, cute icons as well as voice recordings instantly and at the click of a button. They can also create their own MSN community to while away the time.

The C500 allows users to both view and edit familiar Word and Excel documents as well as the ability to view PowerPoint and Adobe PDF documents. This device also has Quick Notes function that supports different font sizes to make viewing easier. Additionally, users can access corporate files stored on a Microsoft Share Point Server directly and easily from the C500.

The C500 also supports sending and receiving of e-mails anytime and anywhere. One can synchronize the outlook mail, calendar, contacts and tasks.

Another attractive feature of the C500 is the Talking Dictionary that contains 60,000 words from Chinese-English to English-Chinese. Users are guided through proper pronunciation by an almost human-like voice.

The smart phone is also equipped with Mobile RSS News Reader for the latest news and related information. With a two-mega pixel camera, the C500 lets you make quality video-recordings and snap the greatest photos.
